Position Summary:                

The systems analyst serves as the database administrator for the Medical Staff Office Software (ECHO).  The Systems Analyst acts as a power user for the group to troubleshoot issues, clean up the database and maintain the accuracy and integrity of the Medical Staff Office data.  Works as the sole liaison with Information Systems and the vendor helpdesk to ensure that software upgrades, data conversions, and enhancements are completed and that issues are identified and rectified.  Takes initiative on projects that will improve the workflow of the Medical Staff office.  Solely responsible for the development and generating of reports for the Medical Staff Office, the Medical Staff, Credentials Committee, Medical Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees.  Works on special projects to streamline workflow and identify efficiencies with the software.  Trains team members on ECHO information input.  Works with the Manager of Medical Staff Services and Credentialing to perform quality checks on data.  Works with Departments system-wide to support database information related to the Medical Staff and Supports the continued integration of the ECHO system throughout Lahey Health System Medical Staff Services Departments.

Per diem, hours assigned as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:          

Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Extensive knowledge with database management, applications, report writing, software implementation and maintenance.  Must have demonstrated strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task, troubleshoot and solely manage projects.
